It provides a list of his papers, at least the 281 papers published up to 1938, and sketches of his life and works. Provenance: with on the half-title a dedication by De Margerie to the Dutch geologist G. A. F. Molengraaff (who is listed wice in the index). Also with the latter's library stamp in the top margin of the front wrapper and title page. A very good copy.
